Where is the manual or quickstart guide for my Mixman DM2?  There was no printed documentation in the box.
The manual and quickstart guide are available in pdf format after installation.  Look for these files in the DM2 program group (usually in Programs/All Programs in Mixman DM2 under DM2 Help & Instructions).

What file formats can I import into my Mixman DM2?
You can import the following formats:

  • WAV
  • TRK (DM2 format)

What file formats can I export from my Mixman DM2?
You can export the following formats:

  • WAV
  • RM (Real Audio)
  • WMA (Windows Media Audio)

What is a TRK file?
A TRK file is a special (proprietary) format used by the DM2 that contains a sound or sequence of sounds. This file cannot be played in software other than the Mixman DM2.

Does the Mixman DM2 work on an Apple Macintosh* computer?
The DM2 is not supported on an Apple Macintosh* computer or Mac* OS platforms.

Do you have Linux drivers for the Mixman DM2?
The DM2 is not supported on Linux* platforms. Thus, Digital Blue does not offer software or drivers for Linux.

Where can I get more sounds for the Mixman DM2?
You purchase a variety of music compatible with the DM2 at www.mixman.com.

Can I mix MP3’s with my Mixman DM2?
The MP3 format is not supported. If you want to use a sample of music in MP3 or other unsupported formats, you will need to first convert the file to the .wav format. The Mixman DM2 cannot do this for you, but there are other software packages available on the internet that will convert audio files.
